Construction: The central tables have been constructed to form a body-like creature that gives the creature three separate parts where users of the space can take hold of a part and form their group. Right in the middle is the head. Therefore, a group taking such a position maybe trying to display their dominance in the room. It does also give them control over the display projector and the white boards, for their own use.

Subdivision: Again, if you are an individual you expected to move to the outer walls, while friends and groups take center-stage. There is no physical divisions in the room, just psychological barriers.

Climate control: The windows in the room are locked. Therefore, you must use the air-conditioning
Turn-on-But-Not-Off
system. But you have no control over how it operates. So while you may want just fresh air to circulate the stale air, it may blast you a cold frigid warning. For some people, this lack of climate control may be a metaphor which reflects their own internal lack of life-control. It may drive them from the space, and their ability to learn.

Finishes: As will be discussed in the Good and the Bad design aspects later: the Crimson-Red walls can inspire and uplift the shy-person within.  Yet, some creative posters or even a cabinet as found in the entrance to the space, may bring some attention to the space and help engage the learner from a cultural or intellectual view. But sticks of red posts, dot the landscape and are a visual distraction or form of pollution.
